LighterLife runner takes on the London Marathon for Children with Cancer

Everyone at LighterLife is unbelievably proud of colleague Maxine Holland, a member of our Quality Assurance Team, who bravely took part in the mighty London Marathon challenge on Sunday 22 April and completed the gruelling 26.2 miles in just 5 hours, 12 minutes and 28 seconds…far exceeding her expected finishing time!

A highlight for Maxine was passing TOWIE star James ‘Arg’ Argent at around the half way point…

‘I was starting to flag and suddenly there was this huge crowd’

…that crowd was just the motivation Maxine needed, at that point in the race, to keep running.
